Supreme Court denies Muckleshoot appeal

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 9, 2001 The Supreme Court today declined to review an appeal by the Muckleshoot Tribe of Washington. The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals last year rejected the tribe's attempt to expand the extent of its treaty rights under the historic Boldt decision. By doing so, the court affirmed the rights of several other Washington tribes. Get the Case:
