Mont. Indian men cited for heart disease risk

JUNE 21, 2001 Indian men in Montana have one of the worst death rates from heart disease, according to a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention study released on Wednesday. Nationally, there were 465 deaths per 100,000 Indian men from 1991 to 1995. In Montana, there were 766 deaths per 100,000. The worst state for Indian men was South Dakota, with 1,140 deaths per 100,000. Get the Study Results:
