MAY 5, 2000 The Onondaga Nation of New York wants a sewage project on Syracuse's South Side stopped. They asked US District Judge Denise Cote to block the Environmental Protection Agency until an environmental impact study can be conducted. The EPA had earlier ruled a study did not need to be conducted. The Nation says it will disturb ancestral villages and burial sites. Get the Story:
