Fire hits Yup'ik village

MONDAY, FEBRUARY 11, 2002 A fire destroyed a building in the Yupi'k village of Stebbins on Saturday morning, but no one appears to have been injured. A dog owned by a resident of the building alerted him to the fire. The fire consumed two apartments, the village washeteria and the health clinic. Get the Story:
