Concerns voiced on bison grazing in Wyo.

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 24, 2001 Federal and state officials, along with conservationists, last Thursday voiced objections about a Wyoming rancher's proposal to graze bison instead of cattled on federal land in the Bridger-Teton National Forest. State officials are worried the bison may transfer brucellosis, a deadly disease, to cattle. Conservationists say the rancher could open his herd up to hunting. Get the Story:
