Sen. Stevens: Expose ANWR Liars

APRIL 24, 2001 Senator Ted Stevens (R-Alaska) acknowledges there aren't enough votes right now in Congress to get the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) opened up to drilling but he says that isn't stopping him and others from pushing it. Stevens says that environmental groups are misleading the public about drilling. Eventually, he says they'll be "exposed for the liars they are." Get the Story:
