Minn. Indian woman elected to school board

An American Indian parent was elected to the St. Paul school board in Minnesota on Tuesday.

Elona Street-Stewart beat out incumbent Becky Montgomery for a spot on the board. It was Street-Stewart's first run.

Street-Stewart said she hopes to use her position to help the underrepresented.
