Funding increased for UND Indian program

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 6, 2001 The Department of Interior spending bill signed into law by President Bush on Monday increases funds for two Indian programs at the University of North Dakota. The bill increases the Indians into Medicine funding to $920,000 next year. The funding will help the school create a partnership with University of South Dakota. The bill also adds funding for the Indians into Psychology program. Three scholarships will get more money. Get the Story:
