THURSDAY, AUGUST 30, 2001 "I attended school in Watertown for five years and am therefore well aware of the Ki-Yi homecoming tradition. If the use of mascots and the like were used to degrade the Native Americans (or any ethnic group for that matter), I would be the first to vehemently object. I will tell you the Ki-Yi tradition was always given the utmost respect, yet not with patrimonial decadence as proposed by some. . ." Get the Story:
