JUNE 28, 2000 The Wheelock Academy, a Choctaw Nation boarding school, was named to the National Trust for Historic Preservation's list of the nation's 11 Most Endangered Historic Places. Named for Dartmouth College's first president, the school educated Choctaw youth from 1823 to 1955. On Thursday, the school will be featured on an hour-long History Channel program airing at 10 PM EST. On Sunday, HGTV's "Restore America," will feature Wheelock at 10 PM EST. Get the Story:
