N.Y. students don't want to give up 'Braves'

JUNE 27, 2001 A survey conducted of high school students in Fonda, New York, shows that 97 percent want to keep the "Braves" mascot name. The school will make a final decision to keep or scrap the name in August or September. Get the Story:
