University wants Indian students

JUNE 27, 2000 The University of Wyoming is trying to recruit more Indian students to its university in Laramie. President Philip Dubois has created a new position to exclusively focus on recruitment and retention. The university will also work to strengthen its relationship with the tribes on the Wind River Indian Reservation, the state's only reservation. The university has an American Indian Studies Program.
