SEPTEMBER 21, 2000 Daily Variety reports today that Native actors Graham Greene and Adam Beach are in discussions to star in director Chris Eyre's next project, Skins. Skins will be adapted from a novel by Adrian Louis. The story is about the lives of two Sioux brothers, one an Indian cop, and the other an alcoholic who is dying of cirrhosis of the liver. Greene was nominated for an Academy Award for his performance in Dances With Wolves. He recently appeared in The Green Mile, with Tom Hanks. Beech and Eyre are known for the work in the Sundance Award-winning movie Smoke Signals, adapted from short stories by author Sherman Alexie. Relevant Links:
