Oneida Nation president gives state of tribe address

TUESDAY, JULY 8, 2003 Cristina Danforth, president of the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin, gave the state of the tribe address on Monday. According to news accounts, more than 100 attended the address. Danforth spoke about the importance of the tribe's new gaming compact, education and cultural preservation. Get the Story:
