Okla. tribe funneling bridge money to city

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 11, 2003 The Sac and Fox Nation of Oklahoma is giving $1 million to fund a new bridge in the city of Chandler. The money is coming from the Bureau of Indian Affairs. Sac and Fox Principal Chief Don Abney said the tribe has used $29.9 million of its federal road allocation for projects that benefit the local community. Get the Story:
