Agua Caliente chairman accuses union of lies

FRIDAY, MAY 30, 2003 The chairman of the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians of California is accusing a hotel and restaurant union of a campaign of disinformation. The Hotel Employees and Restaurant Employees International Union is trying to organize among casino workers. The union released a survey claiming that the tribe's health care plan was inadequate. But Chairman Richard M. Milanovich says the union is misrepresenting the health care program and the wages the tribe provides. Get the Story:
