Boy expected to recover from lake accident

FRIDAY, MAY 16, 2003 A 17-month-old boy is expected to recover after being rescued from a submerged car in an accident at the Spirit Lake Nation in North Dakota. Hunter Thunder and his 3-year-old brother were under water in Devils Lake for more than a half hour Tuesday. Their mother had momentarily stepped into a convenience store at the Spirit Lake casino when the car rolled into the lake. The brother, Ryan Thunder, died Tuesday night. Get the Story:
