Pueblos awarded DOE economic development grant

WEDNESDAY, MAY 14, 2003 The Eight Northern Indian Pueblos Council of New Mexico was awarded a $200,000 economic development from the Department of Energy. The council, which represents eight Pueblos in northern New Mexico, will use the money to study economic development options. The grants are part of a program designed to help communities near DOE sites that are being closed or restructured. Get the Story:
