Archaeologists in Virginia have uncovered a 17th century site believed to be the home of Chief Powhatan and his daughter Pocahontas.

The site is located on the banks of the York River. It matches a description of Werowocomoco, Powhatan's principal village.

Archaeologists said they found a significant number of artifacts.
