Calif. tribe settles water rights dispute

The Soboba Band of Luiseno Indians of California has reached a tentative water rights settlement.

Under terms of the deal, which requires approval by Congress, the tribe will receive $28 million, 127.7 acres of land and rights to 9,000 acre-feet of water a year from the Colorado River.
