FRIDAY, APRIL 4, 2003

The Norwich Bulletin in an editorial today recommends listening to "Casino Reservations," a documentary about two tribes and their gaming experiences.

The program looks at the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation of Connecticut and the Mississippi Band of Choctaws. "The Mashantuckets and Choctaws share similarities -- each is fabulously wealthy after decades of obscurity," the paper summarizes. "But the Choctaws are more involved in local government. They serve on various boards and commissions of nearby communities."

The program will air at 7 p.m. tonight on NPR affiliate WNPR, Connecticut Public Radio. An audio link is available at the radio station's web site: http://www.wnpr.org
