Mont. student selected as American Indian Ambassador

THURSDAY, APRIL 3, 2003 Eldena Bear Don't Walk, a student at the University of Montana, has been chosen for the American Indian Ambassadors Program. Bear Don't Walk, of Salish and Crow ancestry, is a 29-year-old law student who is also working on her master's degree in public administration. She will travel to New Zealand to meet with the Maori counterpart to the ambassador program and meet and work with U.S. officials and tribal leaders. Get the Story:
