UND students put together weeklong celebration

MONDAY, MARCH 31, 2003 The Indian Association at the University of North Dakota are holding the school's 34th annual Time-Out and Wacipi Celebration this week. The events include seminars, discussions, cultural presentations and a science bowl. Olympic gold medalist Billy Mills, a member of the Oglala Sioux Tribe of South Dakota, speaks on Tuesday. The time-out culminates with a wacipi, or pow-wow, on Saturday and Sunday. Get the Story:
