Sask. won't charge tribal gaming officials

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 26, 2003 The Saskatchewan Department of Justice has concluded that criminal charges aren't warranted against First Nations gaming officials whose spending habits were questioned. According to the CBC, former Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority chief executive Dutch Lerat spent about $800,000 on vehicles and plane tickets. Three other members of the board of directors were also probed. Get the Story:
