Bill would provide monument in Mont. to veterans

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 25, 2003 A bill to erect a monument and tribal flag circle to honor Native veterans is sponsored by Montana State Representative Jonathan Windy Boy. The monument would be located at the state capitol. Veterans testified in its favor last week and a House committee advanced the bill to the floor. Get the Story:
