Northern Cheyenne president returns to power

MONDAY, FEBRUARY 24, 2003 Geri Small has resumed control of the Northern Cheyenne Tribe of Montana but tribal opponents are moving forward with an attempt to remove her. The tribe's constitutional court said she was unlawfully removed by the tribal council. She says charges of mismanagement of funds are unsubstantiated A hearing on the complaint against her is set for March 6. Get the Story:
