WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 29, 2003 The House on Tuesday approved another temporary extension of the federal budget, delaying final resolution of the fiscal year 2003 spending bill until next week at the earliest. The Senate passed a $390 billion omnibus appropriations act last week. A House lawmaker said there were still differences to work out. Get the Story:
