WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 22, 2003 The Seneca-Cayuga Tribe of Oklahoma is reopening its casino under a new name and new management. Seneca-Cayuga Casino was closed three months ago, leading to 160 layoffs. It will reopen as Grand Lake Casino and will be managed by a company that also manages a casino owned by the Quapaw Tribe. The tribe is also moving forward with plans to open a bingo hall on ancestral territory in New York despite objections from state politicians and a letter from the Bureau of Indian affairs that questions whether the recent purchase of 227 acres of land is valid.
