N.Y. tribe seeks deal to buy water

TUESDAY, JANUARY 14, 2003 The Oneida Nation of New York is finalizing a deal with a local town to buy water for a casino expansion. All of the details haven't been worked out but the tribe would build an $8 million water line in Rome. The tribe would buy up to 500,000 gallons a day in order to complete a $308 million expansion project. Get the Story:
