Rosebud Sioux teen missing for five days

TUESDAY, JANUARY 14, 2003 Danielle Spotted War Bonnet, a 17-year-old teenage girl from the Rosebud Sioux Reservation in South Dakota, has not been seen by her family for five days. Spotted War Bonnet was last seen at her home on January 9. Tribal police have entered her name into a national database and her father disputes claims that she is a runaway. Supporters of the family are correcting earlier media reports that cite an argument between Spotted War Bonnet and her father. This is incorrect, they say, and was the result of a miscommunication that appeared in a press release. Get the Story:
