Indian health care act subject of Senate hearing

The Senate Indian Affairs Committee holds a hearing today on the reauthorization of the Indian Health Care Improvement Act.

The lengthy bill covers a wide range of health programs. Indian advocates say reauthorization is a top priority.

The hearing starts at 10 a.m. It will be broadcast on the Internet via the committee web site at http://indian.senate.gov.
