Gaming tribe benefit from gaming fund

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 10, 2002 Three tribes with casinos in Arizona are benefiting from a trust fund in California designated for non-gaming tribes. The Colorado River, Fort Mojave and Quechan tribes have land in both states. To quality for the California fund, they must not operate a casino in that state or have one with less than 350 gaming devices. California tribes with casinos contribute to the fund. Get the Story:
