TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 2002 An Alaska Native, American Indian and minority bone marrow and blood drive will be held next month in Kenai, Alaska. There is a shortage of Native donations. Native bone marrow and blood are needed because there is a greater chance of finding a matched donor for Native patients. The Kenaitze Tribe, the Kenaitze Cuya Qyut'anen Head Start, Salamatof Native Associa-tion and the Blood Bank of Alaska Kenai Peninsula Center are hosting the drive. It will take place November 15.
