Search fails to find Native village man

THURSDAY, AUGUST 22, 2002 A Tlingit man from the Alaska village of Angoon has been missing since late Saturday or early Sunday. Walter Jack Jr., 21, is presumed to have drowned. Jack was last seen by two friends. The trio were on a hunting trip at the Admiralty Island National Monument in southeast Alaska. Angoon is a village of about 700. Get the Story:
