Navajo Nation lost money on Olympics

MONDAY, JULY 22, 2002 The Navajo Nation lost almost $200,000 on its highly praised and well attended exhibit at the 2002 Winter Olympics. Discover Navajo: People of the Fourth World," cost $3.5 million and raised $3.3 million. The losses totaled $786,000. Navajo lawmakers are auditing the Discover Navajo Foundation to see if there were any improprieties. Get the Story:
