Wash. nickname targeted for removal

THURSDAY, JUNE 20, 2002 A Washington school board on Wednesday heard debate on removing the "Indians" nickname from a public school. According to an alumni identified by The Seattle Times as Native, only four out of 25 Indian students at West Seattle High School want the name changed.
