An appeals court in Mexico sentenced two Huichol Indian men to 13 years in prison on Thursday, overturning a ruling that had set them free.

Juan Chivarra and Miguel Hernandez were charged with the 1998 death of Philip True, an American journalist. They initially confessed to the crime but retracted, citing torture by soldiers.
