Video poker machines ruled illegal

WEDNESDAY, MAY 29, 2002 The Georgia Supreme Court on Tuesday upheld a state law ban on video poker machines. In a unanimous decision, the court ordered the games to be removed from casino facilities by June 30. According to the Associated Press, there are 15,000 to 20,000 offending machines. Get the Story:
