FRIDAY, MAY 24, 2002 A community project five years in the making was dedicated at a school on the Mille Lacs Ojibwe Reservation in Minnesota on Thursday. More than 1,000 people took part in creating a mosaic mural at the Nay Ah Shing School. Over 232,000 ceramic tiles went into the effort, which depicts a tribal landscape. The tiles were made out of beads and the mural contains other items people added. Get the Story:
