Cayuga Nation buys another gas station

The Cayuga Nation of New York purchased a second gas station on ancestral territory.
The formerly landless tribe now owns two properties, including another gas/convenience station.
The tribe says the land is considered Indian Country because it is former reservation recognized by a 1794 treaty.
The tribe has won a $248 million damages award for 64,000 acres of stolen land The case, and the amount, are on appeal.
