I also was watching a morning talk show when the program was interrupted with a bulletin of a plane crash in New York City -- Rockaway Beach, in the borough of Queens. Planes plunging into the ocean or crashing into the ground are awful, but they are not unknown. Since the Sept. 11 attack, however, accidents such as this one have taken on a more ominous note. . ."
