The Chippewa Cree Tribe of Montana met with Gov. Judy Martz and Attorney General Mike McGrathon Wednesday to start negotiations on a new gaming compact.

Among chief issues raised, the tribe is asking for expanding hours of gaming in order to drive up revenue. The tribe also seeks unlimited number of machines.

Martz said not all requests could be granted but McGrath said he expects successful resolution of talks.
