JUNE 29, 2001 A grand jury in Syracuse heard testimony on Thursday in the shooting death of Gary Thomas Sr., an Onondaga Nation man killed June 19. The grand jury will consider whether charges are to be brought against Anderson Johnson. Police say the incident stems from Johnson's arrest on marijuana possession which he allegedly blamed on Thomas' uncle. Get the Story:
