Program targets teen pregnancy

The National Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy today will release a report highlighting the successes of a New York City program in reducing teen pregnancy.

Dr. Michael Carrera at the Children's Aid Society has created a porgram that offers sex education classes, SAT tutoring, job skills training, medical and dental care, and sports and creative activities. Program participants have one-third fewer prengnacies, a three-evaluation showed.
