APRIL 27, 2001 Senator Joe Lieberman (D-Conn.) on Thursday introduced a bill to give the Federal Trade Commission broader authority to crack down on companies who market violent and sexual content to minors. Fines of $11,000 per day could be assessed against companies who violate FTC practices.
