WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 28, 2001 Scientists on Tuesday announced the discovery of an atmosphere around a planet outside the solar system, leading speculation that techniques can be used to find life in the galaxy. With the help of the Hubble Space Telescope, the scientists found a very large planet that orbits around star-like sun about 153 light-years away. The planet's atmosphere contains sodium which means it isn't conducive to human life.
