THURSDAY, AUGUST 23, 2001 A power surge at Haskell Indian Nations University caused the first day of classes to be postponed until today. The surge, which occurred on Tuesday, prevented the school from registering students. But the problem was fixed later that day. About 900 students are expected to be enrolled this school year.
