Secretary Jewell goes to Arizona to meet with BIE students

Interior Secretary Sally Jewell will be meeting with Bureau of Indian Education students in Arizona this week.

On Tuesday, Jewell will visit the Winslow Residential Hall on the Navajo Nation. She will highlight a new public-private partnership to bring high-speed wireless Internet and Microsoft Nokia tablets to 10 BIE dormitories.

The trip continues on Wednesday with fourth-grade students from the Santa Rosa Ranch School on the Tohono O'odham Nation. Jewell will join the students at Saguaro National Park to highlight the Every Kid in a Park initiative.
