SIOUX FALLS –– The LDN (Lakota, Dakota, Nakota) Spiritual Group inside the South Dakota State Prison system at the Jameson Annex in Sioux Falls is looking for presenters and participants of the Cultural Conference and Pow wow on Oct. 15-17.

Native Sun News presented at the LDN event in June of this year. During the conference, inmates spoke of their experiences in and out of prison. The pow wow in June was the first in over a year as a ban was recently lifted by prison officials.

Since then, NSN has been publishing letters from inmates, Robert Horse and George Blue Bird, regarding concerns within the Jameson Annex.
