The head of the Office of the Special Trustee for American Indians is taking part in the 17th annual National Intertribal Tax Alliance conference this week.

Special Trustee Vince Logan will deliver the keynote address on Wednesday, the opening day of the conference. He'll also participate in a question and answer session later that day and moderate a panel on Thursday.

“Taxes are a big issue for modern Indian Country and I’m looking forward to contributing to the conference,” Logan said. "Financial education is at the top of OST’s priorities and there is no issue that affects one’s finances more than taxes.”

The conference is being hosted by the Seneca Nation at the Seneca Niagara Resort and Casino in Niagara Falls, New York.
